‘Hello, my name is Cheryl and last week I fell off the wagon’
My mission for March was to only use fabrics from my stash
HOWEVER!
The little herbs grew up with the Berenstain Bears so when this bunch became available it was a no-brainer… it had to come to our house
There were big smiles when Blossie & Moo spied it on Saturday and before we knew it, the moda tape bow was undone and it was all over the place
No going back now… there were lots of ‘oh cuuute’ & ‘look at this one’ comments, along with a rendition of ‘If you want something done, then do it yourself… just take your up and at ‘em down off the shelf…’
Best thing is, there’s enough for at least three crib quilts with a bunch of vanilla Emma Louise homespun thrown in…
That makes mama bear happy :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Helen’s quilt for her granddaughter
With a pieced backing… two quilts in one… clever
It’s going to Uni so it just needed an unfussy allover pattern… quilted in blue, looks so fresh on the white
I had the same problem with the Lorax fabric this week. Geesh, and I was trying sooooo hard!!! My son called from college last year and asked if I would ship his Dr. Seuss collection. Imagine how sad I was, and how disapointed he was when I told him "No, those are the Grandma books.".
Oh! I haven't seen the BB fabric! Must be just out. I did some of the BBs in counted cross-stitch that hung in our son's room. He's now 32 years old! Guess those bears have been around a while. Thanks for sharing.
Cute, cute Berenstain Bear fabrics!
I am seeing more and more "2-sided quilts," and I think it's a great idea. Love the blue and white.
