And so did we..... arriving at the beach on mid Sunday afternoon and then before we even blinked an eye, the eight days were gone and the blustery rainy cyclonic weather chased us back home again. But the in between time was fabulous - bike rides, long walks, swimming in the oh so deliciously warm pool. Trust me, it was fabulous and you'll have to take my word for it because the only photos I have are imprisoned inside my mobile phone. For now.... I might be able to find a clever grown up who can show me how to make them come out and share. If you want a relaxing break to just sit and stare at the ocean.... go to this place. And make sure you drool over the photo of the pool..... divine.
ANYHOW..... it's back to life as we know it. Two fluff furbies, three chooks, a mad cockatiel and the not so littlies - and the littlest of the three is about to have her 26th birthday. Where the heck did those years go?
I know you liked block 3 so here's a little peep at block 4. I like to think of it as 'The Buffet'....
The other exciting news is that Lady Polly Flotsam is fluffed and ruffled, Madamoiselle Celeste Bouquet has donned her pearls, Captain Frelly Dingle's hair is waxed and spiffy and they are all about to be joined by Sir Alphonse D'Arbignon (he's just lacing his boots). They're a tad excited at the prospect of meeting you all...... It's only a few days away now :-)
Look for the gentle breeze from the north. It drifts in with a sprinkling of twinkles and when the sparkles settle, the little creatures start playing....
I hope you find your sparkle
see ya soon and I'll leave you with our version of the dog on the tuckerbox... it's the cat on the tissuebox
So good to know that you had such a wonderful time :)
Loving the sneakpeeks.
The kitty is just so cute.

Question for you. I'm working on Bathtime and wondered if DMC 349 Dark Coral (terracotta) is the correct thread for the small pots? DMC 349 is very red and your finished pots look much softer in colour.

Hey Cheryl! Was your getaway at Bargara? If so, it's one of our fave getaway destinations - without the cyclone! :0) Ooohh ... a bunny eyeing off the vege patch - can't wait to see! And your kitty just cracks me up, perched on the tissue box! I think it's that air of injured dignity that cats get when you laugh at their antics that make it all the funnier! Have a great week and yell when you're ready to organise a quilting day for the fire quilts. Bear Hugs! KRIS

Nice to have a break from life sometimes - were you affected much by Hamish? We had 'welcome' rain in Melbourne yesterday which was great
Looking forward to the next block and the next cat antics
Take care
Cathy
