When I spotted this over at Allie's, I couldn't resist. It's the sweetest little design
A gentle smudge of soft colour
Cosmo threads + fave embroidery needle = sheer delight
Simple stitches that allow your mind to roam and start cooking up all manner of nonsense...
I added the tiny pink buds
The stitching takes on a more rustic appeal on linen, don't you think? We loves this :)
I'm going to add a limewashed frame and hang it where it greets visitors
Thanks Allie, just delicious...

Lovely birdcage embroidery. I copied that one as well and hadn't thought how I was going to do it. Your idea of linen is wonderful. Thanks. Lizzie

Cheryl...you are a true artist!!! What a perfect front entry to greet someone! Maybe I missed it, but what do you use to add the color? Pencils, chalk? I have been using pencils on muslin recently. Yours looks softer than that. Very nice!

Cheryl, you have done the most beautiful job with Allie's gorgeous stitchery. It led me to your blog too, which is great.

I love it with your signature coloring, Cheryl - much better than my plain ol' redwork, lol! Love the linen too, there's another thing I'll have to try. And the tiny flowers are perfect!
Lovely pic- kind of reminds me of Florida in the U.S.!
