I'm sure it's a bit of bother for the locals but for us as tourists, it's just magical... :)
Bit chilly overnight in Cong...
and snow in Dublin! at 4.30pm... dark and snowing... and just magical...
tomorrow? Back to London for a few more days to catch up on all those things we missed...

If Bev and I look cold... it's because we are!! Today's top temperature was just 2deg Celcius... Brrrrrrrrrrr..... the puddles were frozen solid

Adare is the prettiest little village you could ever visit... with a wonderful Manor house set amidst beautiful gardens
and Adare has a fab Christmas cave :)
this morning it snowed... ok, it's just a teeny little snowflake but it's still snow!
Tomorrow it's up early, pack the car and head off to Cong with a side trek to the Cliffs of Moher. What's at Cong?

ps... We can't believe how fantastic the weather has been... only a few little showers here and there with most of the days filled with bright sunshine. Blessed!
is wonderful... rug up a little more than normal and head off for the day. The scenery is magical with beautiful colours and vistas that go on for ever. The head gardener at the Palace of Versailles says it's his favourite time of year because the trees are more open, allowing us to see what lies beyond. I love that....

Just being a busy tourist in France and England... that's where!! Let me catch you up with a few piccies... :)

and found the house we want to move in to...

then we moved onto Paris

Strolling back from the market... 'was that an aussie accent?'
Sure was!
Brave Bevvy asked the question... 'Can we have a look?'
'Sure can! come on board...'
And so we did :)
for a stroll round the $28m boat moored across from our apartment (the big yellow building to the left of Bev)
the skipper recommended a hike around the coastline to Villefranche.... so we did, with a bottle of wine and some plastic tumblers :)
We look a bit poncy but we're actually munching on chips!
Today? Off to Italy!

Yesterday was great... a whole day exploring Monaco and Monte Carlo
brunch in a cafe
before picking up a few souvenirs and heading up to the Palace
We want to live here
with Prince Albert as our neighbour...

Just a quickie because there's way too much other stuff to be done :)
The big bird delivered us on time and we're staying in a fab apartment in Nice, overlooking the port and just around the corner from the Promenade... a short stroll to the Old Town markets
A few piccies then we're off for our day trip to Monaco and places never before seen...
at Dubai International airport... totally packed at 6am!
