Because there's way too much to be done!
And a right arm that doesn't play nicely won't stop me for long...
My 'Pair of Partridges' are another project for the Quilt Fabric Delights 'Christmas in July' event online. Still another few days to go! And the projects have been fabulous, so many great ideas...
I've also been busy finishing off a few little bits n pieces that have been hiding in boxes
And last week the turf arrived... 'nuff said...
funny little man worked like a trojan, spreading soil and laying turf while I directed traffic and shouted words of encouragement. It's hard work...
In the distance you can just see the startings of the little chook house, just the right size for two little chookies to roost at night. The house is empty for now but in a few weeks it will have some feathered tenants... can't wait for those fresh eggs again!
Today we're off for a short break to the tropics. It's been a long Winter this year, I think we're getting old or something because we've been whining about the cold way too much. Those gorgeous Spring days are just around the corner
I've been working on a new series of designs for 2012 - like Verandah Views and Under the Sea they'll be available as a free download from my blog commencing in January. A little bit of stitchery, a bit of patchwork, some pracitcal ideas and not the usual 'put them all together and make a wallhanging' thing... I think you'll like them :)

On another note... remember this?
My 'Stitchin' Bug Set' is almost ready - just a few more bits of 'testing' to be done so watch this space...
Righteo, we're off to the airport and will catch up in a week or so
