I have a couple of ideas to share with you this month!
My beautiful ‘Lavender Laundry Bag’…featuring a gorgeous stitchery on a bed of ticking ~ French Blue of course...
(which is also just the right size for a special pair of shoes, a freshly baked loaf of bread or some scones ~ warm from the oven)
AND some simple doileys
These lovely little pieces are so quick… simply find a plain cream on cream embroidered doiley with some room to add a bit more of your own stitching, throw them in a bath of tea or coffee to ‘age’ them a little, add some fusible stabilizer to the back and pretty them up with your own designs!
I’ve added a simple download of the ones shown above, just click on the link in the right hand side bar that says ‘It’s a little bit French’ and you’ll find the files for these as well as the laundry bag
Well… that’s the last of my designs in this series, I’ve really enjoyed creating these little lovelies. From the feedback and site stats I know that they’ve been the most popular of my designs so far and that’s fabulous!
There’s just one more thing to do now… if you haven’t yet done so, go to this post and leave a message to be in the draw for our June giveaway
I’ll be back later in the week with a wrap up of our 'It's a little bit French' fun and an update for our ‘Little French Swappers’ :)
Seeya!
Cheryl xx
hello I just found this blog and was very excited to see the Its a little bit French monthly projects. I have looked everywhere on the side bar and cannot find the projects. Am I looking in the wrong area?

Cheryl, where do you get all your ideas from? These are absolutely gorgeous as are all the others you have shared with us. I have them all in a nice folder ready to start stitching for Christmas gifts and a couple for myself if I have time. Thank you so much again. Angel hugs.

Just lovely! Who, pray tell, who could put laundry or shoes in that bag??? Definitely a baked good or something handmade for a friend would go in there.
Thanks for the wonderful designs.

Pretty pretty projects. I have started working on the thimble pips, but used a template plastic and think it will be too hard to baste the fabric to the template. Hope I can just kind of gather it around the template and it will work. I will find out tonight.
