For Jenny… the first of five
number two

Tomorrow is a special day for our clan… it’s a whole year since we said goodbye to our Mum
That’s a biggie in life ~ losing a Mum… or a Dad
My Mother’s Love rose is flowering again, although the windy winter’s days are taking their toll. It’s still the most beautiful shade of gentle ‘Mum’ pink…
We think of her every day… there are lots of little reminders around us that make sure she’s with us in everything we do
Friday is the funny little man’s birthday and my sister – Bevvy’s – is on Tuesday next week. We were all a bit sad for their birthdays last year so this year we’ll make up for it… lots of cake, pressies, laughs, a bit of fishing, and walks on the beach
Mum would love that…
We’re all heading up to Hervey Bay for the long weekend ~ we spent lots of holidays at Hervey Bay when we were kids… fishing, fishing, fishing
Seeya when we get back
Cheryl xx
Such a sweet post. I know you miss your mom, but how wonderful you can feel her all around you. The little bird is adorable.

It is very sad and hopefully your sadness from the last 12 months is slowly being replaced by all the happy memories and the fun times. My MIL died 20 months ago of ovarian cancer at the age of 71. We're still trying to come to terms with that, it's very difficult.
Enjoy Hervey Bay, it's a gorgeous place, we used to go there often camping etc however we have not been there since my youngest was a baby and she will be turning 20 in August.

Love to all the family - as always. Enjoy your times together and share the memories. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer up north - but beaches are always lovely. Look forward to catching up on your return :)

Hi Cheryl,One year on and the memories will keep on popping up some with sadness and some so beautiful you want to shed a tear for her in happiness. We have to love our mums as they are so special. Enjoy your time away and all those birthdays. My mum (100-plus 9 months) is resting in the arms of her Lord now too, and we miss her so. Cheers and love Shirley.xx
